Good afternoon everyone,  I'm sure you guys all have a lot of questions about the rest of the season! I'll try to answer a couple here, and if you have anything else please feel free to shoot us an email. At the moment, Joe and I are planning on co-head coaching the team. We are already involved in most of the practices and meets, so the transition itself should be easy.  We are actively looking for a new head coach to come in, but should we not find one by the end of the season I am fully confident the season will run as smoothly as it has been already.  Now on to the routine things!  Charlestown is a home meet on Saturday, December 15th!  Check-in is at 12:15 Meet Special Requests  Volunteer Sign-ups Concession Donations We are getting an electronic scoreboard!  Thanks to the generous donations from many families on the team (and families who used to be on the team) we have reached our goal of a scoreboard for our pool!  The order proces

Week 1

Hi All, Welcome to Week One of the season! I'm really excited to be working with everyone this season. Just a couple of small items to address. Neither Joe, nor I will be at tonight's (9/11) practice as we have a league meeting to attend. Practice WILL still be happening, Nikita will run all three practices. I have attached the team handbook which addresses a lot of common questions around practice, meets, attendance, and expectations. We will be talking in more detail about how to prepare for a meet and how meet runs later in the season. We will also have the meet schedule and send it out at the end of this week.  For practice please make sure to bring a suit, goggles, towel, and a water bottle. These are all necessary to have successful practices Packing a snack for after practice is also recommended, especially if you will not be eating dinner right after practice. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out and let me know, Donovan Smith H

Watertown Make-Up Meet Information

Hi team, There will be no land work training for the older swimmers before the meet on Friday.  We will not be using the games room. Swimmers are to report to the larger set of benches for the meet. Parents may use the smaller set of benches and chairs will be put out if we need them. To speed up the meet we will skip relays and instead use the relay times from the meet the following day for scoring. We will have a few extra events for the 9-10s and 13 ups to get accurate times for relays as they swim different distances in relays then their usual solo events.
