Dear Team!

Those who have been with us a while know we desperately want a timing system! The Sea Wolves is a swim team that strives to balance fun and skill development. Swimmers compete to be their fastest and every personal best is awarded with a ribbon. Accurate timing is essential to our program: if a swim is recorded as faster than it actually was children may never reach their new unattainable false score. If the time recorded is slower than the actual pace,  then the child will not be rewarded for their improvement.

A timing system will greatly improve our accuracy as well as make record keeping for 200 swimmers much easier! With a timing system all of the stopwatches will start automatically so half of the opportunities for user errors while timing will be eliminated as volunteers will only stop the watches. The timing data will also be uploaded automatically to the records system and therefore all data entry errors will be eliminated.
