Hello Team,
There will  be no practice Sunday October 8th and Monday October 9th for the Holiday.
Blog: The new blog is up! You can reference all old team emails for the season at https://seawolvesbbgc.blogspot.com/
Website: Please remember we have a new site: https://www.billericabgc.com/sea-wolves, for our older families- if you reference the old one it is no longer being updated.
Practice Meet: There will be a practice meet on Friday October 27 for new swimmers only. All returning members of the team will not have practice that day. This will give out new swimmers a chance to learn what to expect at a meet and also give us an opportunity to get their base times. We will still have video training at 4:30 but it will be for new swimmers only also.Video at 4:30. Please report to the conference room at 4:30, come in suits ready to swim as they will go directly from video training to the meet. The practice meet does not count as one of the regular season  5 meets you must attend.
Video Training: Each week we have a video training for all ages on Friday from 4:30-5 pm. I will try to have the links in the following weeks check in, but please try to make the training as we do much more than watch the videos.

9/22/17 Training: Focus Streamline and Dive:
9/29 Freestyle: This week we had technical difficulties, so I recommend everyone review!
Pulling it together: Katie Ledecky tromps own world record in 400 free
Reminder: After the video training the 11 and under swimmers will report to the pool and the 12 and up  swimmers will go to land work, so they need to come in sneakers and comfortable clothing.

Caps: Custom Sea Wolves caps available online now through October 15th: https://swimcapz.com/sea_wolves

Team Store: Keep an eye out for a separate email for the online team spirit wear store. This will include items like long and short sleeve Ts, duffle bags and swim parkas. You do not need to purchase spirit wear, it is just an option.

Go Fund Me Fundraiser: Follow the link to donate: https://www.gofundme.com/help-our-kids-get-a-timing-system
Please send this out to friends and family. Also, please post it on facebook!

FINS- We have started using fins in the 13 and up practices. If you do not have fins yet, we recommend short blade training fins such as “Speedo short Blade Training Fins”, “TYR CrossBlade Training Fin” or “Finis Z2 Gold Zoomers”. Please no long fins. Some children like to add fin socks that cut down on chafing. This is optional. 12 and under will not be using fins.
Please have your swimmer bring the fins to their lane at the start of
Nationals Orientation: On Friday, October 6 at 6:30 we will have an informational meeting for all those interested in attending nationals or just are curious about it. This meeting will review the process required to attempt to make nationals as well as qualifications and other topics.  We highly recommend all those considering going to nationals to come, including those who have attended nationals before. Even if you do not think nationals is for you it is a great way to learn about a facet of the team. This is during a family swim so children may swim while the parents meet.
Meet Schedule:  The schedule is up! https://www.billericabgc.com/meet-information . Mid October we will have the not attending, coming late and leaving early sign ups available online. More information coming.
When we get closer I will send out more information about meets such as events, what to bring and what to expect.
Team Suits-  Information coming soon.
